She said it sparkled like freshly fallen snow. However the next day in the sunlight my wife fell in love with it. Actually the first time I saw Artic White was at night under the low pressure sodium lamps of the dealer parking lot and I did not like it at all. when I got the to dealers for my first test drive I got my first look at Gotham Gray. The first Rogue I ever saw in person was Iridium Graphite and I was sold on the color. To tell you the truth I had a heck of a time selecting the Rogues color. Only cost me $50 for the two front windows. During the install I was making small talk with the installer and he mentioned he actually installs more window tint than bras and the next think I knew I had tinted windows. I was having the front wrapped in VentureShield. (say, while you're at it) kind of request. SenorPayne7 wrote:Elton, i love the white rogue, it looks great with those tinted windowsThanks!. Here are two pics of my Rogue with 35% film in the front so you can see how it compares to the 20% factory tint in the back. SenorPayne7 posted a photo of his Rogue with 20% tint in front to match the back. Wondering what the Tint Laws are where you live? Here's a link that provides tint laws by state. For instance, an 80 VLT means 80 light will be visible through the film. The lower the percentage VLT is, the darker your tint is. This is called Visible Light Transmission or VLT. I'll try and post some pictures later today. The darkness of window tints is measured by the percentage of how much light can pass through your windows. Thus, the lower the percentage is, the darker the tint is. The percentage refers to the amount of VLT (visible light transmission) that can come through the windows. Its not as dark.but not that far off either. From 5 to 90, there is a wide variety of car window tint options. I just told my installer to apply the darkest tint the law would allow. only to remove it when I fail inspection. Rather than risk the expense of installing dark film. I really wanted 20% installed so the front windows would match the back but I live in North Carolina which limits its films to 35%. If its too dark (by tint laws in that state) then your auto will fail inspection until the film is removed. Inspection stations use a light meter to measure the light transmission of your window film. In truth, its a rare exception for in any state for a cop to pull someone over for window tinting. I would suggest researching your specific state to find what is "ok". Jmbones wrote:Just about every state has different tint laws.
